The Starlite Team

Starlite Kitchens and Baths has been a family business for ten years, owned by Doug and Lynne Bakker and Roger and Sandi Bronsink.  The family connection begins with Sandi and Lynne, who are sisters.  Doug is one of Starlite’s outside sales people and one of the nicest people you will ever meet.  He looks forward to helping you plan and purchase your cabinetry.  Lynne helps with various aspects of the office, including payroll.  Roger is involved with the operations, marketing, finance, and human resources.  Sandi helps with showroom organization and decorative hardware.

Other family members are part of our team as well.  Doug and Lynne’s daughters, Kim Kool and Shari Bakker, are two of our designers.  Their son, Matt Bakker, helps with sales and delivery, when he is not attending Grand Valley State University.  Rog and Sandi’s daughter, Amy  works with showroom organization, marketing, and office procedures.

Of course, we have many outstanding “adopted” family members who are very important to our company’s success.  Ruth Westra, has been one of our top designers for the last several years.  Check out her national award-winning kitchen on her designer page.  Christine Ritsema has 20 years experience in the building industry and has been designing for many years.

Our sales team also includes Brett De Haan and Paula Allison.  Brett adds a high level of sales expertise and enthusiasm to our company.  He has been one of the most successful cabinet sales people in the Grand Rapids market for almost fifteen years.  Paula Allison brings a wealth of experience as both a sales person and designer.

Kathy Dekker is invaluable as our office manager keeping Starlite running smoothly, while handling a myriad of responsibilities.
